The Ant-Man

                                              

   The Ant Man, also known as Dr.Hank Pym, created a size altering formula, that he tested on himself! Since his first test went bad, he made an instrument that allowed him to communicate with and control insects like ants and bees. To add to the Avenger, he has a movie coming, but not this year, but in 2015! the movie is supposed to hit theaters Nov 6 2015, but it might come sooner so don't keep your hopes down low. But there are actually three different Ant Men, surprising huh? I thought so.

   Ant Man has large amounts of powers and abilities like his armor which allows him to shrink and grow in size, communicating with insects, a jet-pack  robot arms equipped with magnetic grapples, genius level intellect, shoot power charges, and  super strength when over 100 feet. What is there not love about Ant Man? I mean he is another genius like Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Bruce Banner (Hulk). If you wish, you can read about the other two Ant men, Eric O'Grady or Scott Lang. This post was about Hank Pym. At on time, the Ant Man even married the wasp! What a surprise!

Catching Fire

   Remember back in the old days when there was the Hunger Games movie? Well yeah my title gives it away, but on November 22, 2013, Catching Fire will be released in theaters. For all the Hunger Games fans out there, this is huge! But be patient, because Mockingjay will be released in 2015. A while from now. Director Francis Lawrence is directing this soon to be blockbuster. Want a summary? Read on for more details.

   The original book by Suzzanne Collins is about the aftermath of the 74th Hunger Games, the victory tour, and then the Quarter Quell, the unexpected twist by President Snow to bring back Peeta and Katniss, along with other previous winners of the Hunger Games before them. And for those who haven't read the books, I suggest as an opinion to read the books before you atch the movie. There are some things that aren't in the movie that are in the book. That to, if you decide not to read or watch the movies in chronological order, yo will be very confused. I'm sorry that I could not find the trailer for Catching Fire, but this video below has info on when the 2 minute trailer will air.

Superman, The Last Kryptonian

   I decided that since my first post with the new blog had a pic of superman, I thought it would make sense to do a post on him. So enjoy! The Man of Steel is a virtually indestructible man unless you are talking about kryptonite. So what does Superman have that makes him so super? Well lets find out the secrets behind Clark Kent.

 
   Blasting away from the exploding planet of krypton in its final hours is Kal-El, the kryptonian that managed to escape the planet in an escape pod by his father, Jor-El and later to be picked up by the Kents, who adopted the "space-boy" and raised him throughout his childhood. When Clark began to pick up powers, the Kents knew that he was special. His powers included flight, super-speed  super human strength, heat vision, frost breath, super hearing, virtual invulnerability, and regeneration. And this same decision goes for all super-powered people, power comes with great responsibility, so are you going to use it for good or bad? Luckily for Metropolis, Superman choose good. The Incredible Hulk or Thor The God of Thunder

   It has come to my mind that the incredible Hulk and Thor are very similar power wise. They have very powerful strength, a lot of good things, and not only that but bad things too. I know I already did Thor in the previous post, but these two characters are really cool, and that maybe you might enjoy this post, so read along!

Hulk
   The fearsome green Goliath, the incredible Hulk, has so many powers that he ca't activate mentally, it just happens out of control. of course Dr.Banner has found a way to control his anger and the Hulk, before that he was just an angered beast. But now having mastered the ability to withstand the "other guy" from coming out, he can be technically be classified as a superhero. Powers of the Hulk include the following: Empowered healing factor, gamma strength, superior knowledge over gamma radiation (Banner), speed,endurance, durability, agility, mind control resistance, and immunity to diseases and viruses. but the fact that he cannot control his anger in the earlier issues before his practice of anger management, and the inability to control himself while in Hulk mode. Furthermore, the Hulk has superior abilities in my terms to the other superheroes in Marvel. For the Thor passage, read the previous post, that should be below.

Magical Hammer, or the Advanced Suit of Armor?

The Intro

   Thor and his magical hammer of legend, Mjolnir are a great team as well as virtually unstoppable. And then there is Iron Man, with his suit of advanced armor. They both have their pros and cons, but these still remain two of my favorite superheroes. But whose is truly the best? That you and I shall decide at the end. The answer lies ahead, hidden beyond this post, in you. Iron Man the billionaire CEO of Stark Industries? Or Thor, the viking god of thunder?

Thor, God of Thunder   

   Thor is a widely known comic/movie character that many enjoy. But there are still many bad things about him. For instance, his very large temper causes him not to retreat when hurt or someone else is, he only wants to continue a battle, not to end it. Thor also has a need for battle. He craves nothing more or less than to be in battle with his friends and hammer. And his stubbornness can lead to bad things. But there is still the better things about him. After all, he can make his hammer return to him when knocked away, as well as being the only one who can lift it (other than his father Odin). Being able to manipulate the weather around him seems very familiar to me, an X-men member named Storm. Thor can bring down thunder from the sky to his hammer or the ground to create a fatal blow.  But Thor also has powers other than ones provided by the hammer, he is a god remember? He has super strength, resistance to injury, and more. Going in a lot of battles requires him to eat a lot, and yes, he is a food fanatic.

Iron Man, A Genius Billionaire

   Iron Man is my favorite superhero of all time, but he also has more than his "perks" of his armor. For instance, Iron Man has to recharge his heart and armor after battles so he isn't always ready for immediate action. Another thing is that he has a high level of stubbornness, he will not give up, which is good in some occasions, but it can lead to his steel heart to fail. And the good things are that has large amounts of knowledge on his enemies and allies, like Thor, Captain America, and the Hulk. His knowledge on these superheroes and villains allows him to easily fight his enemies, or when forced to fight allies. Iron Man also has powerful technology to upgrade when an enemy gets to strong him, as well as a powerful uni-beam and repulsors that can destroy lots. And lastly, he has armored allies including War Machine and Rescue. And after a long battle with enemies like the Mandarin, he loves to drink his alcohol.

The Man Behind The Suit

   Now the time has come to begin explaining about the absurd life of Tony Stark in the Iron Man comic series. Iron Man made his first appearance to Marvel comics in "Tales of Suspense", in March 1963. Anthony 'Edward' Stark began his role as Iron Man as a grey metal beast, and now the red and gold avenger.
When making a weapon for the Ten rings, Tony instead devises a plan with his "cage-mate" to escape by making a suit of armor strong enough to escape captivity. His cage-mate died trying to aid his escape sadly. And since he works with making weapons for the military, he also integrated that technology into his suit to help fight crime. His superpowers include: Genius intellect, Extremis link with suits, superhuman strength (in suit), and life support that can be solar powered.

 




 
   Iron Man has also made many allies including War Machine (James Rhodes), Rescue (Pepper Potts), Thor, Captain America (Steve Rogers), S.H.I.E.L.D., the Avengers, and much more. But not only has he made some friends, he has made more enemies. These include: Mallen, the Mandarin (my favorite!), Obidiah Stane, Ezkiel Stane, Iron Patriot, Mister Doll, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Arsenal, Blizzard, the Controller, Count Nefaria, Doctor Doom, and Fing Fam Foom. And those are just from the top of my head! Yes, a lot of people want Iron Man dead. There are many, many different comic series including Iron Man, and I don't think listing them is a good idea, so I will just tell you my favorite, the Invincible Iron Man series. I have this one show that I normally watch called Iron Man Armored Adventures, which changes the story of Tony a lot, but includes some crucial parts. And here is the first episode.

Iron Man (Movies) 1-2-And 3?

   Now it is time for my favorite "hero" of all time, Iron Man. This post is going to be for the movies, my next post will be about the comic character. I believe that the major debate behind the story of Iron Man 3 is that who will be the main villain? Many think the Mandarin, and others think that it will be the Iron Patriot ( Norman Osborn, he steals one of Tony's suits and paints it). Surprised that Mr.Osborn is in here? You aren't the only one, I was too. So lets start from the beginning. The first movie. The first movie was about Stark being captured by the Ten Rings, making the first suit, and the face off with Obadiah Stane. Just a brief summary, not much. Iron Man 2 however brings the evil feud Whiplash into play. Justin Hammer tries to get Whiplash to make armor for him to sell, and it doesn't go as he planned. 

  

    It comes to the third movie in the series. But who is the real villain? The Iron Patriot? Or the Mandarin? You decide in the comments section! There isn't much info about the movie's plot YET, but I will tell you what I think. Since the story could go both ways, I will start with the Iron Patriot first. Norman Osborn steals the suit, and uses it to gain the public's trust. He assembles the Dark Avengers, who are the opposite of the avengers, just plainly evil. Iron Man and War Machine must stop the Dark Avengers and regain the public's trust. And now, for the Mandarin side. The Mandarin could wreak havoc in China, forcing Iron man and War Machine to stop him from achieving world domination or 

bringing back the original ring bearers. If you wish to see a good TV show that I also watch occasionally, than watch Iron Man Armored Adventures. It is very good and is on channel 122 cable normally at 5:30. If you are going to watch the movies, then start from the beginning. Here is the Iron man 3 trailer.

Spidey- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman!

    This is whom you all should know by now, Spiderman. He is by far NOT my favorite superhero but more of an awesome guy to make a large line of movies and TV shows for. Movies for this man include Spiderman 1-3 (Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom), and The Amazing Spiderman (the Lizard). Many TV shows as well, so here are a few. The Amazing Spiderman, Ultimate Spiderman, Spectacular Spiderman, and Spiderman Unlimited. Peter Parker has gone through much in the TV shows and movies, but the most come from the comics. He has died multiple times, returned to life again, and much more. I can't even try to state the title of each comic series, because then I'd be going forever. Well you can't blame him.

   No matter which comic you read, it always begins with Peter getting bit, then uncle Ben dying, and then "Spiderman" surfacing to the crowd. It just the same way how Captain America was given the super-soldier serum and bam! There's your C.America. After his encounter with the spider that turned him into Spiderman, he made little devices called web-shooters that shot his famous webs. In many other comics, he had gliders that appeared underneath his armpits, to web shields hat could partially block fire for a few minutes. No matter what he adds to his arsenal of sticky, gooey weapons, he can't just rely on that, he has a lot of superpowers that make him the wall crawler he is. He has powers like spider sense, wall crawling, regenerating healing factor (like wolverine), and much more. All this together makes him the one and only--Spiderman.

   Escape From Planet Earth, is a 3D movie by director Callan Brunker that will hit these theaters this year thankfully. The stars in this movie as they appear seem to be Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser), Kira Supernova (Sarah Jessica Parker), Lena (Jessica Alba), Gary Supernova (Rob Corddry), and Shanker (James Gandolfini). You may know a few of the actors/actresses since they are quite familiar to me from many big hit movies like the Fantastic 4 (Jessica Alba). Take your valentine out for this movie, because it's release date is February 14th, known to us simply as Valentines Day. In my opinion (this nothing to do with the movie being bad), more computer animated shows and movies are hitting the screens today, and when people actually dressed up to play as a person, those don't show up as often.    You can't say that this isn't really cool alongside funny, the trailers are hilarious  and I might as well put a few of them up for you guys to see. You see, Gary on the top with the Slurpee, is actually here to rescue his brother, Scorch who got himself captured by Shanker, the lovely guy in the middle of the picture to the left. He is the evil mastermind in the story who has captured previous aliens who have made all of our technology such as cell phones, internet, and other stuff. Cool huh? Well there's more to where that came from.This here is family comedy, and you will want to watch it over and over again.Next week it will be a comic super hero, and who else then the Amazing Spider-Man!

Samsung ATIV Odessey

   What did you think of this when you first saw this phone (no peeking at the logo). Well, when I looked at it, I saw the windows 8 phone version on it. Isn't this a Samsung phone? Well apparently yes, so why don't we have a little chat with this ATIV shall we? OBVIOUSLY it is by Samsung (you would've looked at the logo by now) because it says so. If YOU didn't know that, you got NO right to be here ( not to be offensive at all) at all. I mean, it says it right there...

   

   Anyway, back to our "chat". Here is the answer to the mystery behind the windows OS on a Samsung device, this the first Samsung phone to USE the windows OS. That explains the unfamiliarity of the combination of Samsung and Windows. The ATIV has up to 64 GB in memory cards, integration with Xbox stuff as well as Sky-drive. I think its a great idea to tie up the two, and tht the phone looks great/awesome. It is VERY light, something most people always want to know, and hit Verizon TODAY. Featuring a 4-inch AMOLED screen display (480-800 pixels), 1.5 GHz dual-core snapdragon S4 CPU, and a 5 megapixel with 720p video recording.

   

   Also including a 2,100 mAh battery (long time), this has a lot of potential and a lot of well made features. Saying them all would be useless, given the point that I am trying to geet you to buy this phone. Its got great screen resolution, long battery life, 720p video recording, as well as windows 8 installed and the light/sleek design. A Folding Car by MIT?!

   Phones and stuff by the professionals was enough for my 64-bit brain to process, but this needs 128! What I mean is that this is totally awesome. This "folding car" by MIT college students just blows my mind. The city car is called Hiriko, meaning from the city, is an electric, explaining the size. Since the model will be expected to be sold, the people of the USA are willing a 12,500 price for this two seater, foldable car. 



    The Hiriko had problems like everything in the world that causes some changes and differences in what you see today. For instance, each of the Hiriko's wheels has drive motors, steering, braking, and suspension to use space in the cabin. It also uses swinging windshields instead of doors, since that would mess up the folding process. And when this magnificent beauty is all folded up, in one parking space it can fit three of them. Impressive you say? Then you are most definetly correct. These "cars" haven't been released to public yet, so they are being tested in various places around the world. Xperia, The Experience

   This extraordinary for Sony to finally show its face in the phones again(not saying the PS systems aren't good enough). I'd like to take this moment in time to state my absence for the past two weeks. The first week was Christmas and the New Year, so happy Christmas, and merry New Year. The week after, my computer crashed from extreme keyboard "activities", so I guess I walked under a ladder during that time. I'm just unlucky,aren't I.

 
    Well, back to business, the Xperia Z- Sony's new smartphone, well obviously, that's what I am here to tell you. Equipped with 5" full HD (1080p) stunning reality display, Snapdragon S4 pro quad-core processor, 13 megapixel camera, AND 4G LTE speed, it is an upgrade to the world. Waterproof, awesome, amazing blowing, tempting, all these features are necessary for great phones in this economy. The walkman, a music player that holds alot of space, is built in to this phone. And like all of the Androids and smartphones out there, it runs on either Google Play or the Android market.

Disney....With A Dragon!?

   This is probably the weirdest thing that happened with Disney (not really, its Disney) giving that a fire breathing-dragon is flying over magic kingdom. I also want to announce that Lucasfilms (creator of the Star Wars saga and Indiana Jones) has been sold to Disney for an astounding 4 billion dollars, also announcing that Star Wars 7 will be released in 2015. Pixar was sold to Disney in 2006 for 7 billion dollars. Since then, Disney has made movies including Toy Story 1,2, and 3 with the Pixar benefit. Now back to this fire breathing dragon of Disney's. This dragon made its appearance during the grand opening of the new Fantasy Land in the resort. Yes this is completely robotic ( which is why I am posting
 this).

This is it(I know this isn't what you expected).

   This magnificent beast that apparently to some people acts as he guardian for the newly created FantasyLand, which has had its grand opening on December 5th, and the dragon appeared at around 7:30 pm. This dragon was meant to attract the press, not become a huge debut. The dragon is actually an illusion, as because an aircraft flies over it, casting ultra-violet lights creating the image of the actual dragon flying around (using parachutes to guide it). That is still impressive. Although the low-sound making engines did not give off a clue that it was flown by a manned aircraft. If you were in the California airfield back in June  you might have seen this be tested (probably not, but there is always a first time for everything). On the right shows this beast breathing fire.

The New Apple iMac

   The revolutionary new product by apple has arrived, showing it's stripes in bright colors. Just simply stunning to the human mind. Apple is showing the death of their founder did not dump them to the bottom of the pail. They have re-engineered the iMac so it is now sleeker, thinner, faster, and better than any previous models of the iMac. Can this get any better? That is what I'm here for. And yes, by reducing reflections by 75%, re-architecting  the LCD right up to the glass for a massive experience.

   Being given the title of "newness", the iMac has a 3rd generation Intel core processors, latest NVIDIA  graphics, Thunderbolt, and great new storage options. This iMac is the slimmest and yet the most power fullest of its kind. Running off OSX mountain lion, the fastest around, it is so darn fast. Plus, all of your apple devices can sync thanks to iCloud. There is even a new Fusion-Drive option! The Turbo Boost 2 gives twice the speed as it would have without it. There is much to learn about the structure of the new iMac, software, and more. Apple Company and ratings, Tech Battles

   Apple as we know it is one of the best technology dealers on the planet. But how good is it really? Read this post about apple itself, to figure out who will win, Apple or Samsung.

    So far Apple has been one of the big dogs in the game of ultimate tech. They have sold over 100 products, and have the audience to keep up their game. But most of the time, the products are bought for the fun of it, and now days nobody really minds. Apple's stock rate is a surprising 8 out of the possible 10, according to StockScouter. They are labeled grade C for fundamentals, ownership, and technical. Also, they have grade A in valuation, which are their strengths. On Fortune 500(by CNN), Apple is rated a surprising 17 in America's largest corporations. The company proved its worth after the co-founder Steve Jobs died, and they emerged. But being a 17 is better than their previous score, which was a 35.

   Now with Apple under his control, Tim Cook Apple's CEO has done three mistakes, which you read about here. The company has added new product lines, increasing its sales by alot, nudging the management to announce plans for the firms first dividend since 1995. By doing this, Apple is returning some of the 97.6 billion in cash it had accumulated before to rise again. Apple has doubled its earnings in 2011 compared to 2010, and now it even better. Apple fans and analysts continue to await a long-rumored television set from the gadget-maker(Apple TV).

The Samsung Galaxy Note II

   The Samsung Galaxy Note II is the revolutionary new Samsung touch screen phone by, well obviously you know so I don't have to tell you the creator. The note II has been selling well all around the nation, and the world. In early November, the Korean company announced that they have sold 3 million units. So far been on sale for 5 months, smashing the UK shelves October 1st. Coming to the states last month, spiking it's sale by the numbers. The Note one was originally thought not to sell as well as the previous models, instead exploded into a whole new category, called the "phablet" by some.

   Yes all as crystal clear it seems, the Note 2 is already reeling in  many sales fish, but they manage the surplus. Running with the 5.5 inch screen and Android's 4.1 Jellybean, yeah, definitely another phone by Samsung. A few problems still lie with the Note IIlike it sitting in a proportional space that doesn't even exist, as well with few of an audience. The Galaxy S III itself is big as it is, while the people are still deciding if it even belongs in the phone category. But other wise it should fit in your jeans pocket(assuming that is not tight) and that even though it can't be used single-handed, Apple pointed out that the ratio for single handed usage is completely ignored by all modern Android devices, so the Note II isn't by itself on this one.

Thanksgiving Floats, Behind The Scenes

  It is a huge american tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving, but it wasn't formally introduced until the civil war. In the annual Macy's Thanksgiving parade, hundreds of giant floats of movie characters, cartoon characters, video game characters, etc.. To make these floats, studio designers in Hoboken,NJ make three feet tall models for people at a designing studio, where they make the huge floats that are shown in the parade by Macys. Lots of different tech is used to create these floats, read on to find out.



   
   To make all the balloons for the parade, it takes a year round effort right after the last parade ends. They start making completely different molds with styrofoam blocks, and cut them with hotwire. All details that make the model are  made by hand, or hand-sculpted. After the mold is done, they cover it with hard-co, a fire retardant plastic that gives it a waterproof shell for weather protection. After making a solid mold, the final balloon version is made at a manufacturer called Aero-Star. The balloon is test inflated to check for leaks or tears, so it will last for the approximately 6 hour parade. After all the balloons, actors, celebrities, and other forms of entertainment at the parade are ready to go, the parade starts.

A Very Useful Item

   You don't have to use a detachable mouse or built in mouse to operate your computer or laptop. The new Thanko Gesture glove mouse is one of the newest techy toys out into the world today that allows you to wirelessly do this. It sends signals through wireless transmissions from itself, to it's receiver, and projects those gestures on the screen of either an Android, PCs, Macs, and Android smart TVs. There are multiple different gestures on this device for you to do, and each one makes a different movement on your screen. For instance, touching your thumb to your index finger makes a mouse click.


   Any user of this mouse must strap it on your left hand, so the proper sensors are in the right position for you to properly use it. Multiple sensors sense your movements to project on your screen. It is connected by USB connector jack, and holds a 12 hour battery life, as well as a 10-15 meter signal radius. This can be charged via the USB connector jack, and sadly is only sold through Thanko in Japan.
