The OS has better security, and uses less battery than windows 7. It also has many more features than 7, and the advancement has a similarity to Apple's IOS 6 update.

The consumer preview was given out February 29, 2012.And remember that if you want to purchase this, it will be released on Oct 26, 2012, good job to Windows for their newest product, windows 8.
